Angles Audio Visual Studio

Angles Audio Visual Studio was established in 1986. Equipped with various artistic skills like painting, drawing, modeling, still and video camerawork and computer based Non-Linear Editing systems; we are committed to visual aesthetics and quality.

We work in all visual art forms specializing in video film and animations. We have experience in all genres of films including children's films, tele-serials, documentaries, corporate films and ad films.

We write and convert scripts into storyboards, create cartoon characters and objects and animate them synchronized to music or voices. These 2D cartoon characters can be placed on real life video footage, 3D landscaped sets or moving 2D backdrops.

Our computer-based special effects and non-linear editing system is for full-screen full-motion video capture and playback. It supports CD and DAT quality audio, composite and component video input and output. This quality confirms to CCIR-601 resolution, 768X576 and 720X576 Pal.

We are also equipped with digital DVCAM camera Sony PD 170 with all accessories for lighting and sound.

We provides affordable desktop video production to Post Production Facilities, Animators, Corporate Communications Dept.., Educational Establishments, Government Agencies, or any other user for the creation and production of web content, video and multimedia presentations.

2) Be a Leader - Worked as Animator with famous cartoonist Uday Shankar on short animated satire.
3) Burn Baba Burn – Animation Director on independent production in progress.

Madhav Mandava

Studied 3D Animation at Penatasoft.
Did voice-overs with Miditech for the childrens show ‘Gili-gili-Sim-sim'.
Working with AAVS since January, 1998 as an Animator and Instructor on the following projects:

1) Worked as Animation Instructor on more than twenty children's animation films, many being screened at international film festivals.
2)  ‘Kalpavriksha' - Assisting a group of Gondi tribals in developing an animation film
3) Conducting animation workshops in schools and colleges across India.

Anant Narain

Graphic Artist from WLC India.
Interned from Crest Animation, Mumbai as Animator and Conceptual Artist.
Worked as Assistant Editor on the independent film production ‘Blind Mice'

Filmography:

•  Cheeku Goes to School is a 2 minute 30 second animation film made by children of Amity International School, Gurgaon, Sector 43. It was screened in August 2008 at the Hiroshima International Animation ilm Festival, Japan as part of a collection of Animation Films made by children of the world.

•  Pot of Gold is a 5-minute animation film based on the Warli tribal art and folk lore of Maharashtra. It is a part of an Indo-Scottish joint venture series of animation films for children titled Tales of the Tribes . The film is being premiered at the National Geographic All Roads Film Festival, USA on 1 st October 2006.

•  Fish's Wedding is 2 minute 20 second animation film made by children of Uttam School for Girls. It will be compiled into a collection of Animation Films Made by Children of the World by ASIFA France and premiered at the Hiroshima International Film Festival, Japan in August 2007

•  Friendship and 2 Minutes for You are 2 children's animation films screened at the Hiroshima International Film Festival, Japan in August 2005 and featured as part of ASIFA , Association Internationale Du Film D'Animation, France (www.asifa.net) - Animation Workshop Group collection. Also screened at the India International Center and the India Habitat Center, The Asian Conference on Storytelling for Children and at many schools and colleges in India.

•  Sri Ganesha and the Moon , a children's animation film - Screened at the Annecy International Film Festival, France on 6th June, 2003 and featured as part of ASIFA , Association Internationale Du Film D'Animation, France (www.asifa.net) - Animation Workshop Group collection. It was the inaugural film at The World Of Animation : A festival - 10th to 16th September 2003 at the India International Center, New Delhi

•  UNESCO Festival of Documentary Films , New Delhi, 2002 screened the documentary film, Colours of Life about art on the streets of India. Also screened on Dooradrshan National Broadcast Channel.

•  ZAGREB 2000 World Festival of Animated Films has selected The Eternal Fantasy , a 3D animation film for screening in May 2000.

•  Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary, Short and Animation Films, 2000 selected and screened, The Eternal Fantasy , a 3D animation film about nature and the environment.

•  Goat Island Film Festival, Sydney, Australia screened The Eternal Fantasy

•  Max Muller Bhawan screened The Eternal Fantasy , a 3D animation film about flowers and butterflies on 14 November 1999

•  Directed a series of 6 tele-films for children, Friends Club for Channel Yes .

•  Indian Council For Cultural Relations (ICCR) sponsored the screening and press release of The Friendly Alien .

•  Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India uses The Friendly Alien as a representative film about Indian children. A copy of the film has been sent to every Indian embassy in the world.

•  Bombay International Film Festival For Documentary, Short and Animation Films, 1994 . An international jury selected and screened the film, The Friendly Alien .

•  Limca Book of Records , 1994 to 1999 acknowledged The Friendly Alien as India's first film make by children. They use the film in schools and in quiz programs.

•  Lalit Kala Academy, Festival of Art Films , selected films Jhankar and The Friendly Alien as inaugural films for their festival.

•  Shanghai TV screened The Friendly Alien on the International Day of the Child.

•  Kenya TV screened The Friendly Alien on International Day of the Child.

•  “The Idea”, The Indian Documentary of Electronic Art , 1st Gazette - January-June, and July-December 2000, a CD_ROM magazine have selected and presented my work as one of the leading works of modern Indian computer artists

•  Max Muller Bhavan screened Compassion , a special effects film on AIDS awareness on 14 November 1999.

•  More than 20 documentary film on social issues and appropriate technologies for rural development with leading NGOs.
